I really think it's cool how dance started out as only being skinny, white girls doing ballet and then broadening to becoming more diverse. There are now asian ballerinas and now a black prima ballerina. I think its really inspiring. Dance is a matter of patience and learning. I think it is incredible that people can be naturals.

I think it is amazing how Misty Copeland overcame her barriers and became a principle ballerina in a dance company. She is now famous and everyone respects and loves her. She felt bad about herself after she realized that she was the only black person, but she picked herself up and rose above. She is so inspirational because any black girl that dreams of being a professional dancer, but didn't believe in herself before now has a role model to look up to. This event changed the whole black community and now more black dancers can believe in themselves. She is incredible and someone to respect.
